Keith flew his 105 this
morning, with Christine on board as a passenger/student pilot. We managed to
get both Keith's truck and the ensuing rescue pickup stuck in the mud before
resorting to the tractor for some serious pulling power!
This morning also saw the
first inflation of a brand-new Custom Nine 100,000 cubic foot replacement
hot air balloon envelope destined for its new owner in Michigan. After that
test inflation was finished, another unrelated balloon envelope was inflated
and inspected for overall integrity after undergoing substantial fabric work
at the local repair station.
All in all, a fine winter
morning filled with mud and balloons!
